There are many companies providing solutions aimed at fighting the Asian hornet....
But do they really work?
After my first visit to Galicia it was apparent that the Asian hornet was a real pest. Not only for beekeepers but for holiday makers too, my partner was researching the Asian hornet so I encountered many upset, angry and very stressful beekeepers who were ready to throw the towel in and stop beekeeping altogether.
They were everywhere we went! During a journey to the beach one day we even caught 2 of them in the grill of the car!
I began researching all products available on the market for the Asian hornet and despite finding many companies on google with products, I wanted to see if they have been actually tested. I contacted all of the companies and hardly any replied! It became very time consuming and difficult to make contact with them because most of the companies do not sell to the public or have large minimum order quantities (MOQ)
Finally I am pleased to say that we now offer a range of products for the Asian hornet and along the way I encourage anyone who buys to monitor their findings and post them back here. Thus enabling us to give a non bias and hopeful solutions to help control the Asian hornet
